Itinerary
A representative of Costa Rica Top Tours will meet you at the Juan Santamaría International Airport and transfer you to the Hotel. Accommodation at Courtyard by Marriott Hotel or similar.
We will meet you at the hotel’s lobby for a transfer to the Airport for the domestic flight to Tortuguero. Check in at the lodge and enjoy breakfast. Morning at leisure to enjoy any of the optional activities that Tortuguero offers.
Afternoon tour to the town of Tortuguero. Lunch and dinner included at the lodge. Tortuguero is one of the most popular ecological destinations. It is the most important nesting site, in the western Caribbean, for the great green sea turtle, which can be observed between the months of July and October. A network of scenic canals, considered one of the most exotic areas of the country, rich in flora and fauna.

After breakfast guided morning tour around the Lodge’s trails. Rest of the morning free to enjoy the Lodge’s facility or take any of the tours offered around de area. Afternoon visit to the canals and the National Park of Tortuguero.

After breakfast, departure to the local Tortuguero airstrip for your flight back to San José, connecting with the domestic flight to Quepos, in the Central Pacific. Upon arrival ground transfer to the area of Manuel Antonio. Afternoon free to enjoy the hotel facilities or take any of the many tours offered around the area.

Take a leisurely stroll or an intense hike, with a highly trained naturalist guide, through our exotic bio-diverse tropical rain forest, Manuel Antonio National Park, preserved in the last 34 year as national treasure.
The pace of this adventure is determined by your abilities and interests, and the abundance of wildlife you want to stop and observe, all in its natural and breathtaking habitat. Watch sloths and numerous species of monkeys, travel through the tree canopy, hunt for nocturnal silky ant eaters and several types of non-poisonous snakes resting in the tropical rain forest. Listen to the songs of the various birds as they glide above, curiously looking for adventure. And if you are lucky, you might spot one of the only 1,000 remaining endangered titi or squirrel monkey. See how many different kinds of flora and fauna you can spot just in the span of a 2 ½ hour nature walk or hike.

The Catamaran cruise can be taken either morning or afternoon. The morning tour includes a snorkeling adventure at one of the beautiful snorkeling locations along the coast in one of the local beaches. The afternoon tour is a truly amazing trip for nature lovers who will enjoy not only the experience itself, but the breathtaking sunset of the Pacific Ocean. Humpback whales (June until December) as well as other beautiful marine life can be witnessed on this catamaran tour. On board you will enjoy an excellent variety of snacks and natural drinks, while navigating along the coast with the ocean breeze and the sun, helping you to enjoy this tropical paradise.

Tamarindo is located on the Nicoya Peninsula on the Northern Pacific coast of Costa Rica in the Province of Guanacaste. Playa Tamarindo is a long beach, with excellent waves near the mouth of the estuary. There are many activities offered around the area, including watching turtles during their nesting season at night, diving, snorkeling, body surfing, zip-lining, estuary trips, horseback riding and fishing.
Upon arrival in Tamarindo, ground transfer to Tamarindo Beach. Accommodation at Wyndham Tamarindo or similar.
