The Cahuita National Park is the largest system of coral reefs in Costa Rica, including 6 species of corals, a variety of colorful tropical fish and the occasional encounter of a harmless reef shark or ray. This beach has a horseshoe shape, with the park entrance at one end and the beautiful Punta Cahuita at the other end. We started with a scenic 20-minute boat ride, and two sessions of diving (snorkel).
Then we come to Punta Cahuita to enjoy a meal of nicely presented and fruit snacks on the beach.Then we will make a guided walk of 1.5 hours (3.5 kms) in this beautiful coastal jungle: monkeys, sloths, birds, iguanas and other interesting encounters are common and complemented with great information from your guide.
Shoes comfortable water posts will be all the time, swimsuit, sunscreen, hat, long-sleeved shirt or lycra to cover the back camera (the ideal is waterproof), water bottle, towel, repellent insect, binoculars, waterproof and some cash.
