If you´re interested in feeling the adrenaline running through your veins, this tour was specially designed for you. Having different types of activities, Sky Adventures is a tourism complex located inside the Monteverde Cloud Forest in which you will be able to experience astonishing views of the the Gulf of Nicoya and the Tilarán mountain range from the Sky Tram, one of a kind open air cable car gondolas that last for about 20 minutes before the Sky Trek, a system of 11 zip lines that range from 20 to 770 meters in which you will jump from side to side for two and a half hours.
Itinerary
Sky Tram is a tour for all ages, the special size of the cabins allows for a wheelchair to enter without any problem.
In 20 minutes the cabins of Sky Tram arrive to the top of one of the high mountain of Monteverde, here from an observatory platform, you will have a spectacular view of Nicoya Gulf and the Tilarán mountain range. It runs a total of 800 meters from one point to the other, with the possibility of making intermediate stops to observe the cloud forest. From this point you can come back with the Tram or with the Sky Trek system.
Sky Trek is a secure system of trails and zip lines in the Monteverde Cloud Forest that offers visitors the opportunity to observe and appreciate the nature from different vantage points. Sky Trek includes 4,544 feet of trails, 11 transversal cables (from 131 feet to 2525 feet) long, and two observatory towers for a panoramic view (360º) of the Guanacaste, San Carlos and Puntarenas lowlands.
